My Book
Becoming a children's book author has been a lifelong dream — one rooted in storytelling, imagination, and the magic of family reading traditions. My debut children's book — rich with lyrical language and Michigan pride and beautifully illustrated by Robin Boyers — is slated for release in Spring 2026 through Wilson Lindberg Books, LLC.

By day, I've worked in corporate communications and PR — an industry where you’re always “on.” But I worked really hard — even in the busy seasons — to carve out moments to work on my manuscript.
Writing just for me, I set out to create something fun and unique. I kept thinking about the people who rarely get a break: spokespeople, small business owners, and, of course, Santa, a beloved figure in our household during the holidays.
That’s where the idea for my story began to take shape: What if Santa took some time off and popped up somewhere unexpected in the off season — sunglasses on, a twinkle in his eye? Not surprisingly, one of his favorite places is Michigan!
That’s the spirit behind #SantaInTheSun, a playful social media campaign I created to offer sneak peeks without spoiling the full story. It's playful and engaging and offers fresh clues about my book before its release next year.
